Dinosaur Rescue Dako-Snappysaurus

Dako-Snappysaurus by Kyle Mewburn is a book about Arg, the main character, going on his first dinosaur hunt. Dako-Snappysaurus is in a series called Dinosaur Rescue. Hng, Arg's big sister, keeps trying to kill Krk-Krk, Arg's pet. Then Arg's Dad comes and tells Arg he is going on his first hunt so Arg goes to pack his mamtress (Arg's invention, supposed to be mattress) full of weapons, but all the other hunters only had two spears.

When the hunters in Arg's tribe get to the hunting grounds Arg's Dad leads them to a beach at the side of Huge 'lake'. There Dakosaurus attacks Arg's Dad, Krk-Krk and Arg. Arg fights the Dakosaurus until he kills it. The rest of the hunters are surprised when they see the Dakosaurus and lots of fish on the ground as it takes a whole hunting party together to kill a Dakosaurus but Arg killed it all by himself.

I liked Dako-Snappysaurus because it made me laugh.

Hi Karl!
What a great review, I'm chuffed, delighted and generally very happy that you liked my story.
Thanks for your email, too. Instead of replying I thought I'd comment here.
Sadly I won't be writing any more Dinosaur Rescue books. Eight is enough, the publishers decided. BUT I am writing some shorter stories about the adventures of Arg and Skeet, so maybe a triceratops will turn up eventually... if I can figure out a good idea for a triceratops story.
At the moment I only run competitions on my Facebook page, but now I've got a new website I'm thinking about having some giveaways on there as well. So watch out!
Hope you're having a splendid week. Hmmm I guess since it's school holidays it probably IS a pretty good week.
Anyway, like your Mama says - KEEP READING!!!
Best wishes,
Kyle

See you Monday (or maybe Friday)
