Flying

On Monday evening Robin, Mama, Papa and I  went to Whenuapai to go on a Cessna172 so Uncle Malcom could take us around and over Auckland and some of the islands. Uncle Malcom has his private pilots licence (P.P.L). Papa took photos of us, but had to stay on the ground as there were only 4 seats in the plane.  We were started but SAS Troops were doing parachute jumps so we had to shut down.
They delayed the jumps so we were finally you able to go. First we went over Eden Park, Avondale Racecourse, Greenlane Racecourse and Alexandra Park. Next we went over school and our house. Next we went over Musik Point. Then we went over the islands, Waiheke, Motutapu and Rangitoto, before flying over the CBD and buzzing around the Sky Tower and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the way back to the airfield.
We had fun and I am really thankful to Uncle Malcolm!
