Walking To The Sky Tower

On Monday Robin and I scooted and Mama walked to the Sky Tower. It was 11.8 kilometres to get to the Sky Tower from Glen Innes. Then we went down to Britomart afterwards, got some lunch (Robin and I had Subway and Mama got some sushi) and got a bus home.

On the way to the Sky Tower we saw a boat-shed owner and he told us about his boat.  He and his sister owned it. His bosses boat is Lady Margaret. It was interesting.

We've recently read a book about the Rainbow Warrior and we saw a mosaic about it near Marsden Wharf where it was bombed.

I felt proud, happy and excited all at once after our trip because I had done it.  We weren't tired but we did fall asleep quite quickly.

Kia ora Karl,
I was very proud of both you and Robin, doing this very long scoot/walk, which you suggested following on from your work at school on Google maps.
It was fortuitous that the man was in the boatshed when we went past, and we were able to look inside and talk to him about the sheds and the boats.
We were also lucky that the fog cleared away and we were able to warm up a bit more.
Great work, Karl!
Love Mama
